Handcrafted by expert artisans in Japan, the Shun Premier kiritsuke features a core of proprietary VG-MAX super steel clad on both sides with 34 layers of Damascus stainless steel. All Premier knives are hammered by hand with a technique known as tsuchime to a beautiful finish that reduces drag when cutting and helps keep food from sticking to the blade.
