First heard about this book from my #grandfather a #unitednations employee, 25 years ago when i was as voracious a reader one could expect from a #teenager .Being the determined antiquarian & bibliophile i am, I wanted a first edition.Earlier today, we were on our weekend treasure hunt when we walked into a beautiful room with stacks of books lined up, waiting to be looked after by their next caregiver. My husband spotted a book with #hemingway , one of his favorite authors on the cover & this humble 1st edition sitting right next to it, for a princely sum of – $1.50!!!
